It's 4:00 in the morning I'm out dumpster diving around the town - I hear the ghost train a comin' - rolling on and off the rails - it won't stop when it comes down - I see garbage dog tipping over the cans & eating out of the trash - he saw me & ran into a bin he fell and tipped it over - Crash! The heap pile monster lives in the dumpster when you go by you better not try to reach in to see what you can find or the heap-pile monster will get you - I see the ghost train on it's way - 10 minutes later it passes on through off the tracks it blazes by - faster than a car on the highway - smoke spirals out of it's sides as it glides like skates on the ice - it's 4:15 as the truck comes I get down behind some old boxes in time - as the claws grab it the cans it's jaws pop out and eats the trash - the heap-pile monster lives in the dumpster when you go by you better not try to reach in to see what you can find or the Heap-Pile Monster will get you! or the heap pile monster will get you!

Since 2006 I had dreamed of making my very own garbage concept album. Back then I'd go to dogpile when there was free mp3's and would download every track I could find about garbage. I came up with quite a collection of songs from various underground bands. It was exciting being one of my favorite concepts.

Fast forward to December 2012 when the pieces of my visions came into play into the trash thrasher style of Dumpster Divers & The Receptacle Kings. A board game was made to go with it where you go along a route collecting trash, gaining points and learning garbage facts.

DDATRK is an album about garbage day. Featuring 14 dumpster classics like "Heap-Pile Monster" it starts 1 minute into the song using deformations from mini cassette as the intro. To The brawler "Garbage Dog" about a stray hound that goes around picking out of garbage cans, to the pranks of "Nothing To Great To Keep" & the bluesy rock "Rollin' On" and so on. The last 2 tracks are junk from the landfill as the album indicates. An extensive gallery was shot in full trashy attire with splattered garbage paint w/ ragged clothes and garbage trucks, dumpsters and tire yards.

Every song has a back story and every song tells a story. And most of the songs have been made into music videos. The album booklet featured much of the images from the photo shoot with the lyrics tied in as a 6 page foldout. For the first time the whole album can be found online.
