I woke up one day it was alright
seen the firelight sparkle in twilight
like a spinning web twirled tight
and sticking to the bugs that get caught
in it's trap
the ringmaster appears and makes them smile
knowing they'll have fun for a little while
the mirrors reflect your outer being
changing form to tantalize you

The spiral web tilting around
see the spectacle of the melting clown
you don't need eyes to see
those who look down on me
never understanding the mind of the entertainer

could you see why the show never stops
never rest, time to put on the props
acrobatic - sad spider - dancing -- away
and they all applaud - they gypsies dance
in the freak show roll cage
breathing fire spikes on Wednesday Rage
sounds bursting in all 5 rings
not for parents too menacing
your present tense reality is gone forever
so come and see the Arachnid Side show splendor!
